Supper Eagles forward had completed a move to Monaco in a five year contract with a transfer fee of $19million from Everton. Onyekuru initially joine Everton in 2017 but spent the last two seasons on loan to Anderlecht and Galatasaray.
In a statement on the Monaco’s website, the 22 year old disclosed his joy in joining the team. “I’m very happy to join a great club like AS Monaco. I will give everything to improve and help the club to have a great season. I look forward to meeting my teammates,” he said.
Onyekuru scored 14 times for Galatasaray last season.
