“There is life after Hazard” – Frank Lampard

The Blues new manager Frank Lampard has taken his stand that Chelsea can do well under his charge and with the absence of former Chelsea play maker Eden Hazard. Chelsea suffered a 4-0 defeat to Manchester United on Sunday.

Lampard was asked about the Belgian at today’s Super Cup pre-match presser.

“I agree I was a huge fan of Hazard, one of the best in world football, over his time at Chelsea one of the most productive and a leader,” said the manager.

“You can’t replace him individually. But the good news and the positive news is that we have a group that can step up. The answer is that as a team we have to find a way to carry on.

  1. Of course Lampard has to forget about Hazard and concentrate on building his own legacy in Chelsea as a manager just as he did as a player.

  2. I hope Hazard can replicate what he did in Chelsea in Real Madrid, but he should know he can’t do much against my Barca

  3. Hazard was the engine room of Chelsea, he will be missed.

  4. Very sure Lampard would not have been able to manage Chelsea if hazard was still there, Hazard would have resisted him.

  5. If Chelsea could survive in Lampard’s absence so also will they survive without eden hazatd.
